Who would want to blog about the daily life of living in the Greater Olney, Maryland community? Is it someone with too much time on his/her hands? Perhaps. Is it someone with an alterior motive - like really wanting to sell you appliances? Maybe. Is it someone who just wants to hone his or her blogging skills? Possibly. Well, whatever the reason, welcome to the inaugural post of the OBX - Living in Olney (Take One) blog (I know, we need to come up with a better name).
The goal of this blog is to share funny and clever vignettes about the daily life of anyone or everyone that makes up the fabric (not my word) of the Greater Olney community. We're not just a bedroom community on our way to or from Washington, DC or Baltimore, MD!
So stay tuned for some creative, witty, and downright hysterical blogs. If you don't walk away with a smile on your face or an AHA! moment - then we shouldn't be doing this.

Our Lady of Good Counsel High School is now offering the Adult Enrichment Program.
ReplyDeleteClasses are taught by Good Counsel faculty members and span six-weeks.
The Winter Session begins the week of January 28. All classes are held at Our Lady of Good Counsel.
Classes include Drawing, Painting, Photography, Intro to Microsoft and Internet, Music Appreciation, World Religions, Reading the Old Testament, and 1968: A Year That Split America.
